The Legends Run Homeowners Association was incorporated in the summer of 2003.  The Association will be completely built out in the spring of 2012. Upon completion, the development will have 1218 homes in thirteen sections, a community swimming pool, three parks and extensive landscaping that beautifies the community.

In 2009, the developer allowed the membership of the Association to take control of the board early.  Since the member residents took over the board they have maintained high expectations for the development.  The board members want to ensure that the integrity of the deed restrictions are maintained and are insistent that members maintain their properties. Most members of the development appreciate the high expectations of the board and support their decisions to proceed when necessary.

Legends Run’s volunteer members not only want the owners to maintain their property; they want to guarantee that the common areas meet the same expectations.  The Association sticks to their replacement schedule by ensuring that the assets are maintained including items such as the fall surface, the painting, the parking lot striping, etc.  In addition, the Board likes to do capital projects as well, such as: adding park benches and tables, trash cans, new playground equipment and additional pool furniture.  In order to reduce expenses in the community the board added a smart water technology system to the irrigation systems and look forward to an estimated thirty percent reduction in cost.

In November 2011 the Legends Run Community lost board member Sam Bernardino, although Sam was a board member for a short period those that knew him would say he loved his family and wanted to use his knowledge to help the community.
