The Comanche Cliffs Community is a 169 acre piece of property located on the banks of the Medina River in Bandera County, Texas and lies an easy 50 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio. The City of Bandera is a short eight mile drive by way of English Crossing and Bottle Springs Road.

The community contains 155 homeowner lots varying in size from approximately ¾ of an acre to upwards of 2 acres. Forty of the 155 lots abut the River, providing a walking easement below the bluff and along the river to all lot owners and visitors. Comanche Cliffs boasts two community parks, one at each end of the subdivision. A descending stone staircase and bulkhead at the upper park allows for easy access to the River. Bring your inner tube and enjoy a nice one mile float to the larger park at the lower end, taking in towering cliffs and small rapids along the way.

The subdivision is governed by a Board of Directors, Association Bylaws, and a Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (see our Covenants and Bylaws pages). A central water system is provided by Aqua Texas, Inc., utilities by the Bandera Electric Cooperative, Inc., and fire protection by an overlap of the Bandera Fire Department and the Pipe Creek Volunteer Fire Department. The Bandera Post Office provides rural mail service to Comanche Cliffs.
